Yaskawa's Bestact^TM dustproof and flood-tight limit switches offer industry compatible mounting capability with IP52-IP68 (~NEMA 2-6) enclosure ratings. These switches utilize Yaskawa's world-renowned Bestact™ inductive rated (360VA, 0.5HP) reed switches. They do not need snubber, varistor, or diode protective devices for contact protection as other electromechanical and solid state switch products require. They are ideal for corrosive, dirty, extreme temperature, and gaseous Class I, Division 2 hazardous environments where reliability and reduced maintenance costs are of the utmost importance. Multi-pole options, two-line wiring, and other features are offered.
